Based in Southeast Mississippi and South Alabama, Big Cedar is a draw format, family oriented Bass Club.

We are members of the TBF (the Bass Federation) and the Alambama Bass Federation, Inc.

Big Cedar strives to maintain, promote and extend the sport of Bass Fishing  to our members, our families, our youth and other anglers through Conservation, Comeraderie,  Professionalism and Sportsmanship.

Conservation:

It is a widely known fact among sportsmen and women that outdoors enthusiasts have done far more to protect and enhance (to conserve) natural habitats ("the environment") than environmental groups. Among that elite crowd, no group of people has done more than Bass Club members. Big Cedar is committed to that end.

The ongoing and future health of the sport of fishing, and the values associated with it, are our only goals, along with providing fun and fraternal experiences for our members.

Youth

In the youth area, we have focused our efforts on the sport's number one priority: get kids fishing. That includes just getting a fishing rod in their hands as well as getting families outdoors.

These efforts are key when it comes to facilitating the recruitment of young anglers and introducing them to the values and ethics of fishing and the outdoors.
