BIG CEDAR BASSMASTERS MEMBER WINS BIG!

Boater Clemm Parker of Lucedale, Miss., won the May 16 BFL Mississippi Division tournament on the Columbus Pool to earn $4,541.

McMillan in 6th Place

Big Cedar's Scott McMillan is in 6th place, only 14 points behind the leader, in the Co-Angler division of the Alabama Bass Federation Championship Trail. With only 1 tournament left to go, Scott is only 14 POINTS from the Alabama Bass Federation Co Angler Champion and only 6 points from making the State Team.

Mike Bass edges out Tim Fitzgerald for Angler of the year.

Big Cedar Bassmasters finished the 2008-2009 Season on the Pascagoula River on April 25, 2009. With only a few point lead over Mike Bass, Tim Fitzgerald could not hold on as Mike finished with 1299.8 points to Tim's 1215.04 points. This was the closest Season in Club History/

Rounding out the top 5 were Scott Mcmillan in 3rd, with Clem Parker in 4th and Mike Webb finishing out at 5th.

Annual Club Trip

The First Annual Club Fishing Trip will be held October 23-24, 2009. The trip will be to Miller's Ferry in Camden, Alabama. The club will be staying at Roland Cooper State Park near Camden and right on the Lake. Anyone not commited to the trip must do so by June 30, 2009. Contact Tony Kennedy if you wish to participate. There will be a tournament on Saturday, October 24. The club will be paying for the accomodations. We will be staying in Cabins 3,4,and 5 for the weekend.
